Nick Cannon Says ‘God Decides’ When It’s Time To Stop Having Kids…!

The longtime television personality and public figure has a BUNCH of kids, of course. In fact, the count is up to 12 young ones who he has fathered, to be exact! But judging by his recent comments to ET, it seems like he may not be done?! Still??

On Friday afternoon, the 42-year-old Masked Singer host spoke with the news outlet and their correspondent Kevin Frazier about some of his new projects. Cannon is about to embark on the Future Superstar Tour. That gig is promoting new artists and acts, and giving a bit of a boost to potential up-and-coming celebs. To promote that project, he took Frazier through a tour of his Ncredible Southern California offices… and spoke very plainly about his own future plans!!

Frazier — like all of us — was curious about how Nick could possibly manage his time with a dozen kids (and no shortage of associated baby mommas) to his name. But the Wild’N Out star had a unique answer for that problem: energy!!

It wasn’t time that is the issue, Cannon counseled. But rather, it’s about finding the right energy alongside the woman he co-parents with on a daily basis. That dictates everything there!

The San Diego native explained:

“Everybody thinks it’s time management. It’s energy management. Once we’re all aligned, the flow is a lot easier. If there’s any kind of low frequencies or dissension in there that’s what messes up the scheduling. As long as we’re all on the same page and we all got the same goal — to be the best parents we could possibly be — that works and then the scheduling is the scheduling.”

As he told the outlet, building his business empire and giving attention to a bunch of little ones means Nick’s schedule is jam-packed every single day. He confirmed he’s up at 2:00 a.m. every morning to go to work (yikes!), and actively stays motivated through it all to keep pushing.

So with a schedule that busy, there’s no way he could have any more kids, right? …RIGHT?!

Uhh, well, maybe not. When Frazier asked whether Cannon was done having kids for good now, the superstar first admitted he probably was — before adding a quick caveat about the future:

“Yeah, yeah, yeah. God decides when we’re done. But I believe I definitely got my hands full. And I’m so focused. I’m locked in. But when I’m 85, you never know. I might.”

Babymaking or not, Nick does seem to be very excited about the child rearing aspect of it all. He spoke lovingly about providing the right kind of set-up for his little ones: 11-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan (with Mariah Carey); Rise, 5 months, Powerful, 2, and Golden, 6 (with Brittany Bell); Beautiful, 3 months, and twins Zion and Zillion, 1 (with Abby De La Rosa); Halo, 2 months, and the late Zen (with Alyssa Scott); Legendary, 7 months (with Bre Tiesi); and Onyx, 5 months (with LaNisha Cole).

Nick explained:

“It’s a blessing, man, like, hopefully because of what I am able to do, my kids can do whatever they want to do, to be able to be in a position that if they want to be a nuclear physicist, I know somebody at an Ivy League school that I could [hit up]. If they want to go into the military, if they want to be artists, if they want to be actors, it’s a thing where we have the capability. Let’s start talking about it now so we can help your dreams come true.”
