The Boo Radleys – Eight

British band The Boo Radleys are set to release their eighth studio album later this year, and it’s called…”Eight”! The album is the follow up to last years “Keep On With Falling”, which itself was their first new collection of songs since disbanding in 1998.

Preceding “Eight”, the group have just released a brand new single, “Seeker”, in their own inimitable fashion with a quirky video to match. 2023 sees the band also celebrating the 30th anniversary of their breakout album “Giant Steps”, which produced three top 75 hits in the UK, while the album itself peaked at No.17. “Giant Steps” is also being given a polish off and a re-release this Autumn.

The three remaining and reformed members of The Boo Radleys – Tim Brown, Simon Rowbottom and Rob Cieka – are arguably still best known for their 1995 top ten hit “Wake Up Boo”, the lead single from their fourth album, which topped the UK chart that same year. Former Boo Radley Martin Carr has released three solo albums since the group parted while Steve Hewitt went on to play drums for Placebo from 1996-2007.
