Video: Hank Mobley in Denmark, 1968



Late final evening, I heard from Invoice Pauluh, who knowledgeable me {that a} video of Hank Mobley simply went up on YouTube. The clip, from a Danish TV present known as JazzBeat, was taped reside on March 8 on the famed Jazzhus Montmartre in Copenhagen, Denmark. The practically nine-minute video options Mobely with Dexter Gordon’s rhythm part on the time—Kenny Drew on piano, Niels-Henning Orsted Pedersen on bass and Albert Heath on drums. The track they carry out is George Gershwin’s Summertime. It is a disgrace there is not extra from the set.
